Border crossing Progreso–Nuevo Progreso

It's a single international bridge, heavily used by day visitors shopping or going to the pharmacy or dentist in Nuevo Progreso. Many cross on foot. Check the live time above.

Yes. Since Nuevo Progreso is right across the bridge, many people park on the Texas side and walk over, especially on busy days.

Weekdays usually have lighter waits. Weekends and holidays, when more day visitors arrive, are heaviest.

When the port runs Ready Lane, it's faster for RFID documents. Check the live lanes above before you cross.

Fila de Puentes gathers live Progreso–Nuevo Progreso wait times alongside the busiest US–Mexico border crossings. You get CBP’s live wait plus how the line has moved over the last 24 hours, and at many crossings live cameras and community reports too. We keep adding bridges, built for the people who cross the border every day.
