Bridge II, or Juárez-Lincoln, connects Nuevo Laredo with Laredo, Texas, and lands right at the southern end of Interstate 35. It opened in 1976 to take traffic off Bridge I and is named for Benito Juárez and Abraham Lincoln. It carries passenger vehicles and buses; commercial trucks cross at other bridges.
