About Calexico West Port of Entry
Calexico West connects downtown Mexicali with downtown Calexico, California, and is where Mexican Federal Highway 5 begins. It is the area’s main crossing for pedestrians and passenger vehicles; commercial trucks use Calexico East instead. The current facility was built in 1974.
